Bride and groom in cinematic evening light, destination wedding portrait in Europe

Destination Wedding Photographer — Germany · Greece · Albania · Italy

Your Love Story,
Told with Intention

Cinematic wedding photography across Europe. A former psychiatrist with 20 years of clinical experience, now capturing authentic emotion through documentary storytelling, calm editorial guidance, and refined cinematic editing.

The Experience

More Than a Photographer

With 20 years as a psychiatrist and chief physician, I bring a rare understanding of human emotion to every wedding I photograph. I don't just document your day — I create the psychological space for authentic moments to unfold naturally. My clinical background means I know how to build trust quickly, read emotional cues, and guide you with calm confidence so you feel comfortable, not performed.

Calm Direction

Drawing from years of clinical expertise in psychiatry, I guide you with quiet confidence throughout your wedding day. You'll feel at ease within minutes — never performing for the camera, but simply being yourselves. My approach uses psychological techniques to help you relax, connect with your partner, and access genuine emotion. The result is photographs that feel alive, not staged.

Cinematic Vision

Documentary storytelling meets editorial precision. Every wedding I photograph receives the same refined cinematic treatment — consistent tones, clean skin color, and a timeless finish that feels like a film, not a filter. I shoot with professional Nikon and Fujifilm systems, always carrying three cameras and multiple lenses for complete redundancy. Your images are edited with custom Lightroom presets for a signature cinematic color grade.

Across Europe

Germany, Greece, Albania, Italy — and beyond. Whether your wedding is in a Bavarian castle, on a Greek island, along the Albanian Riviera, or in a Tuscan villa, I bring the same editorial standard and psychological attention to every celebration. I speak English, German, and Greek fluently, and I understand the wedding traditions and customs across all four countries. Same photographer, same quality, wherever your love story takes place.

A Unique Background in Psychology

Most wedding photographers come from art school or started as hobbyists. My path was different. After two decades as a psychiatrist, I developed an acute ability to read people — their micro-expressions, their comfort levels, their unspoken emotions. This clinical intuition now informs every aspect of how I photograph weddings.

When the father of the bride takes a quiet breath before the ceremony, when the groom's composure breaks for just a second during the vows, when the couple shares a private glance that no one else notices — these are the moments I'm trained to recognize and capture. It requires more than technical skill. It requires emotional intelligence.

Guided, Never Staged

There's a significant difference between posing someone and guiding them. Posing creates technically correct but emotionally flat images. Guiding — using psychological techniques to help people get into character, to connect with their partner, to access genuine emotion — creates photographs that feel alive and authentic.

During your portrait session, I'll give you small prompts — whisper something to each other, walk together, share a private joke. These aren't poses. They're invitations to connect. When your attention is on your partner, your body relaxes, your expression softens, and the camera captures something real. You don't need to be a model. You just need to show up and be present with the person you love.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about working together. If your question isn't answered here, feel free to reach out.

My style is cinematic, editorial, and documentary. I shape moments rather than stage them — guiding you through natural poses while capturing the authentic emotions of your day. The result is a refined, timeless collection with consistent tones, clean skin color, and a cinematic finish.

I photograph weddings across four European countries: Germany, Greece, Albania, and Italy. I'm also open to destination weddings beyond these locations. Each country offers unique landscapes and traditions that I love incorporating into your story.

Wedding photography packages start at €1,100 and are tailored individually based on your needs — including coverage hours, location, and travel requirements. After our initial consultation, I'll send a custom proposal that fits your wedding day perfectly.

I respond to every inquiry within 24 hours. We'll schedule a 30-minute consultation call to discuss your vision, your wedding day timeline, and what matters most to you. Afterward, I'll send a custom proposal tailored to your wedding. On your wedding day, I bring calm direction and documentary storytelling. You'll receive a curated selection of highlights within the first week, and your full edited gallery is delivered via your private Picdrop gallery within 6 to 8 weeks.

Before becoming a photographer, I spent 20 years as a psychiatrist and chief physician. That background gives me a deep understanding of human emotion, body language, and how to help people feel genuinely comfortable. I don't just document your wedding — I use psychological techniques to help you relax, connect, and express authentic emotion in front of the camera.

Most people feel some camera anxiety — that's completely normal. I begin every session with a warm conversation, explain what to expect, and guide you through natural poses step by step. My psychiatric training helps me read body language and create a calm, trusting atmosphere where authentic expressions emerge naturally.

I recommend booking 8 to 12 months in advance, especially for peak season (April through September). I photograph a limited number of weddings each year to give every couple my full attention. Popular dates in Santorini, Tuscany, and Lake Como tend to book earliest.

Wedding coverage typically ranges from 4 to 10 hours. Most couples choose 8 to 10 hours to capture everything from getting ready through the first dance. Elopements and intimate ceremonies can be covered in 2 to 3 hours.

You'll receive a curated selection of 20 to 30 highlights within the first week. Your full edited gallery is delivered within 6 to 8 weeks after your wedding day. For destination weddings with extensive coverage, it may take up to 10 weeks.

Your photos are delivered through a secure online gallery (Picdrop) where you can view, download, and share your images in full resolution. The gallery is password-protected and accessible from any device.

Absolutely — destination weddings are a core part of what I do. Travel and accommodation costs for weddings outside my base location are discussed transparently during the proposal stage and added to the package. I handle all logistics personally, so you don't need to worry about coordination.

Yes. I always carry three camera bodies and multiple lenses to every wedding. Equipment failure is extremely rare, but I prepare for it as if it's inevitable. Your memories are too important to leave to chance.

Rain creates some of the most dramatic and beautiful wedding photos. I always scout rain-proof backup locations in advance and carry weather protection for my equipment. Some of my favorite images have been captured in the rain — it adds atmosphere and intimacy that sunshine can't replicate.

Yes. I offer handcrafted albums and fine art prints as additions to any package. Albums are designed with the same editorial eye as the photography itself — clean layouts, premium materials, and a timeless design.

Of course. While my approach is documentary and editorial, I welcome any specific shots that are important to you — family groupings, detail shots, or particular moments. We'll discuss your priorities during the consultation so nothing is missed on the day.

Yes, and I love them. Intimate weddings and elopements allow for a deeply personal, unhurried experience. Whether it's just the two of you on a clifftop in Santorini or a small gathering of 20 in Tuscany, the approach is the same: calm, intentional, and beautifully documented.

I'm fluent in English, German, and Greek. This allows me to communicate naturally with couples and families across all four countries I serve, and it helps me understand cultural nuances and wedding traditions specific to each region.

I specialize exclusively in photography to ensure the highest quality in every image. However, I work well alongside videographers and can recommend trusted professionals in each of my destination countries if you'd like both photo and video coverage.

Yes. Portrait sessions are available at €150 per hour (30 minutes to 3 hours), and boudoir sessions at €150 per hour (1 to 3 hours). Mini sessions are also available — 30 minutes with 10 edited photos for €70. The same calm, guided approach applies to every session.

Life is unpredictable, and I understand that plans change. Rescheduling is always possible subject to availability, and I'll work with you to find a new date. Cancellation terms are outlined clearly in the booking agreement, with policies that are fair and transparent for both sides.
